Bride with Bridesmaids holding bridal bouquets on the banks of the Yellow River

You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day on the day that Amelia and Scott tied the knot down at the river.  The couple’s wedding has many special touches that we would love to share with you.

A Wedding Style:  Timeless and Elegant

Timeless and elegant is what comes to mind when describing this couple’s wedding day.   Beginning with the bride’s gown, Amelia looks stunning in a dress that features copious layers of tulle covered in intricately designed lace.   Her train is so elegant!  We love the groomsmen photographed helping the bride with her train.  Her fingertip length veil is also covered in lace and matches her bridal gown perfectly!

Amelia’s color blue is a timeless color popular in many weddings.  Her bridesmaids wear elegant halter top dresses and the groom and groomsmen donned blue suits, vests and bow ties.  The mother of the bride also wears a blue dress that features beautiful lace.  Although the mother of the groom didn’t wear blue, she looks just as elegant in a long, cream dress with burned out velvet.

A Timeless and Elegant Flower:  Hydrangeas

If there is a flower that bride’s swoon for that is timeless and elegant it would be hydrangeas.  And, yes, Amelia selects this flower for her wedding day.  Large tufts of hydrangeas can be found in soft blues and cream in the bridal bouquet.  Pair this with seeded eucalyptus, toss in a few blush roses for the bridesmaids bouquet and you have amazing flowers!

After the midday ceremony, guests enjoy dining and dancing in the elegant ballroom at Vecoma.  Be sure to check out the bridal party dancing up a storm on the dance floor.  We love it when the bridal party encourages others to get down and dance!  For dessert, guests are treated to a 4 tiered wedding cake that is decorated beautifully with hydrangea, roses and eucalyptus.  Under sunny, blue skies, the newlyweds are sent off to enjoy their honeymoon amidst bubbles, a timeless and elegant way to end a wonderful day!
