We are giving a sneak peek at Rachel and Jonathan’s elegant navy blue wedding they had this past May. Our forest was lush with bright green foliage which provided the perfect backdrop to their Spring wedding. The arbor for the ceremony was decorated with a beautiful satin fabric in a soft blush pink. Also, there were two blush floral arrangements on either side that contrasted well against the trees. They were able to get some gorgeous shots on the trickling Yellow River that was beautifully calm and clear that day.
Rachel looked stunning in her gown that had a flowing chiffon skirt. The top was a gorgeous beaded bodice with a plunging sweetheart neckline – a very whimsical look that is perfect for a Spring wedding. By her side were six bridesmaids sporting lovely navy blue gowns with plunging v-neck designs. Their bouquets were full of ivory and soft pink flowers- a perfect combo for a navy color theme! Two little flowergirls looked precious in ivory tulle gowns and happy to take part in Rachel’s special day. We love the look of Jonathan and his groomsmen’s suits. They looked very sharp in the brilliant navy blue. They had a touch of casual swagger by foregoing the formal tie. This made it really easy for them to get comfortable at the reception and roll up their sleeves to party into the night!
A memorable dessert!
A neat little thing about their wedding is that they chose to have a cookie cake instead of a wedding cake! Their guests definitely enjoyed this and you can imagine that there was not a crumb left behind! It is fun to see the different desserts that couple’s come up with to break out of the mold of tradition! You can see more photos of this beautiful wedding along with many others on our Facebook page!
